FOOTBALL – The Bahrain Football Association (BFA) announced last night an initial list of 29 call-ups for the start of the local training gathering of the kingdom’s senior men’s football national team, ahead of their participation in the 2026 CFA China Team Zhaoqing International Football Invitational Tournament later this month.
A final roster will be confirmed following the completion of the regional fixtures this week of three of the kingdom’s top clubs – with two-time defending Nasser bin Hamad Bahrain Premier Football League champions Muharraq and Al Khaldiya both in action in the AFC Champions League Two, and Riffa taking to the pitch in the Gulf Club Champions League.
The line-up includes Mohammed Abdulqayoom, Abdulla Abdulhadi, Ebrahim Alwali, Ebrahim Alkhattal, Hashem Sayed Issa, Sayed Mahdi Baqer, Sayed Dhiya Saeed, Komail Alsitrawi, Omar Alshammari, Abdulla Alhashash, Jassim Khelaif, Saud Mohsen, Ahmed Dhiya, Mubarak Mohammed, Ali Aldoseri, Khaled Alkhalaf, Mohammed Aljazzaf, Ammar Jaafar, Adam Fareed, Jassim Ben Jamea, Vincent Emmanuel, Omar Salem, Moses Atede, Yousef Moajeb, Ali Hussain, and goalkeepers Ebrahim Luthfallah, Godwill Chia Ndang, Omar Salem, and Abdulla Ahmed.
