The Manama Dialogue will start on October 30 with a range of bilateral meetings, as well as the launch of the IISS’ ‘The Gulf at War’ dossier – an 80,000-word research document covering developments in the region from February 28, when the US-Iran conflict began this year, until ‘about a month ago’, according to IISS-Middle East executive director Air Marshal (Ret’d) Martin ‘Sammy’ Sampson.
On the first day, there will also be a special session around ‘Political and Security Lessons from the Iran War’, followed by the opening reception and a keynote address .
