The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has entered into a strategic partnership with Partior, a production-live, multi-bank blockchain settlement network, to explore the bank’s potential role as a Bahraini Dinar (BD) settlement bank on Partior’s network.
The partnership successfully establishes a comprehensive framework fully designed to evaluate the technical feasibility, regulatory requirements, and implementation steps necessary to successfully develop this proposed operating model safely within Bahrain’s financial services ecosystem .
