Bahrain-based medic Dr Cristina Skrypnyk was recognised for her contributions to the field of rare diseases at a major regional conference held recently in Abu Dhabi.
The medical director of Arabian Gulf University’s Princess Al Jawahara Centre for Molecular Medicine and Inherited Disorders received the ‘Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Rare Diseases’ award in the physicians’ category at the fifth Middle East and North Africa Conference on Rare Diseases .
