Bahrain has strongly condemned and denounced the renewed terrorist attacks carried out by the Iran-backed Houthi militia, targeting several civilian, economic, and vital facilities and sites in Saudi Arabia, injuring civilians, including women and children.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry affirmed that these attacks, along with the continued targeting of commercial vessels and the threat to the freedom and safety of international navigation in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab, represent a dangerous escalation, a flagrant violation of the rules of international law, international humanitarian law, the Charter of the United Nations, and the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, and a blatant challenge to the relevant Security Council resolutions .
