The Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry announced that licensed taxis from Bahrain and Saudi Arabia will be permitted to transport passengers via the King Fahd Causeway between the two countries, effective today, in accordance with approved regulations and requirements.The move, in co-ordination and co-operation with the Transport General Authority and relevant authorities in Saudi Arabia, is a part of joint efforts to develop land transport options, facilitate the movement of citizens, residents and visitors, and enhance integration and connectivity between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia .
