Industry and Commerce Minister Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro honoured commercial establishments participating in the fifth edition of the ‘Consumer’s Friend’ initiative in recognition of their contribution to supporting consumers and strengthening the ministry’s partnership with the private sector.
Speaking at the ceremony, the minister said the ministry’s partnership with the private sector is a key pillar of market stability and expanding consumer choice, describing the initiative as a successful model of public-private co-operation that supports consumers and the national economy .
