A digital service allowing users to regularise a domestic worker’s status – either by issuing a new work permit or cancelling the existing one to enable their departure – has been upgraded, cutting processing time by 90 per cent.According to the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), the service turnaround has been reduced from 10 working days to just one, while required documents have also been halved .
