Bahrain’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York Ambassador Jamal Fares Al Rowaie chaired a UN Security Council meeting on co-operation between the United Nations and the European Union, attended by Kaja Kallas, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission. The Permanent Representative underscored Bahrain’s strong commitment to enhancing co-operation between the Security Council and regional organisations, including the European Union .
