A man, identified by authorities as an Asian national, has been sentenced to three years in prison by the High Criminal Court and fined BD3,000 on charges related to human trafficking, the Public Prosecution announced yesterday.
In addition to the sentence and fine, the defendant has been ordered to cover the costs of repatriating the victim to her home country .
