ESPORTS – BAHRAIN’S Hasan Ali placed eighth yesterday in his time attack qualification round of Gran Turismo Seven in esports at the 20th Asian Games.
Ali posted a time of two minutes 13.451 seconds at Aichi Sky Expo Hall D and will now compete in the auto racing competition’s semi-final stage, scheduled for today.
Also yesterday, Bahrainis Mohammed Hejairi and Fadhel Abdali lost 0-2 against Jordan’s Sief Addeen Dababneh and Wissam Al Oweisat in Group E of the eFootball tournament.
They then split their contest against Myanmar 1-1, with Hejairi beating Kyaw Wai Phyo but Abdali losing to Naing Min Thant.
