The Interior Ministry affirmed that the Coastguard continues its awareness efforts to enhance marine safety and reduce accidents during diving activities.
The Coastguard urged divers to obtain the necessary training and qualifications, ensure they are physically and medically fit to dive, plan their diving trips in advance, check weather, sea and water current conditions, and inform the Coastguard station of the diving location, time and expected return time .
