TENNIS – Bahrain’s Ghazal Issa secured first place in the under-10 singles category (orange ball) in a tennis tournament organised by the Strategy Sports Club in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
The event was held in cooperation with the Saudi Tennis Federation and it followed the Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) system.
A number of the kingdom’s other young players representing the Bahrain Tennis Federation excelled in the event.
Nasser Alsayegh and Salem Aldosari were both ranked behind Ghazal in the under-10 class, taking third and fourth, respectively.
The youngsters were accompanied in Khobar by BTF board member and women’s committee head Jameela Al Nashaba and BTF coach Julius Kosgey.
