TENNIS – BAHRAIN Tennis Academy (BTA) held its 22nd Annual Junior Awards Ceremony for 10-and-under players at Dilmun Club in Saar.
The ceremony was held to honour the most outstanding players of the 2025-26 season. Awards were presented in 14 categories.
Some of the categories included best forehand, best volleys and most dedicated player.
Academy coaches short-listed five players for each award and then selected a winner after taking into account each player’s skill level and experience in the game.
Winners of the prestigious Player of the Year awards were Noah Gardier in the eight-and-under division and Janah Isphahani in 10-and-under. Other category winners were Annabelle Griffin, Elodie de Vries, Haris Wright, Jaco Swanepoel, Kabir Thakur, Saad Tahlawy, and Sama Fakhro.
Noah was the brightest star of the ceremony after collecting seven category nominations and claiming four awards. Janah was close behind achieving eight nominations and claiming three awards.
The awards were presented by BTA director Dan Barrie. “We are extremely proud of our 10-and-under players who have been working really hard in this transition stage between the mini-court and the full-size court,” said Barrie.
