A 27-year-old man has been arrested in Bahrain by the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security for misusing social media by posting AI-generated content.
The Interior Ministry revealed the posts included ‘false claims, misleading information and fabricated scenes’, as well as offensive material that could influence and potentially incite public opinion, undermine civil peace and community stability .
