CYCLING – Team Bahrain Victorious took part in the official teams’ presentation of the Giro d’Italia 2026.
The gruelling, 21-stage event is the first of three grand tours this international cycling season.
It starts today in Bulgaria and finishes in Rome on May 31, covering 3,470 kilometres and 47,539 metres of elevation.
The route includes eight flat stages, six intermediate stages, six mountain stages, and one individual time trial, with the decisive general classification battles expected to come across the high mountain stages, the 42-kilometre time trial, and the final mountain weekend.
Bahrain Victorious’ team in the event will be led by Santiago Buitrago and Damiano Caruso, while the rest of the riders are Fran Miholjevic, Afonso Eulalio, Mathijs Paasschens, Alec Segaert, Robert Stannard, and Edoardo Zambanini.
