The Industry and Commerce Ministry (MOIC) should also issue clear guidelines for other licence holders, not only audit firms. It is unfair to hold auditors solely accountable when a large number of consultants operating under ‘Management Consultancy’ licences portray themselves as auditors, which has significantly damaged the profession and lowered the quality of audit reports .
