Another heartfelt letter in GDN regarding stray or abandoned animals (January 24) which, despite being brought up and debated increasingly more often, remains unsolved – and appears to have just got worse over my 20 years living here.
Can we, maybe task a governmental department (Municipalities and Agriculture Affairs Ministry?) with finding – and actually enacting – workable solutions? Trapping large numbers of dogs and dumping them in Askar is not the answer .
