Amad Group International has marked 26 years of excellence across the Middle East, celebrating a legacy defined by professionalism, trust and pioneering innovation.
Since its formation in Saudi Arabia, the group has expanded into a formidable enterprise with four companies in Bahrain and three in Saudi Arabia.
This journey, envisioned by chairman and managing director Pambavasan Nair, has seen the organisation evolve into a leading name in the Middle Eastern industrial landscape, driven by a commitment to delivering world-class electrical, mechanical and telecommunication solutions.
Mr Nair holds the distinction of being the first expatriate to establish fully automated switchgear factories in both Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

Mr Nair
His dedication has earned the group high-profile approvals from esteemed entities such as Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SEC, and the Royal Commission, as well as Bapco and Alba in Bahrain.
Notably, the group received a letter of appreciation from Saudi Aramco, referencing the exceptional standards upheld by its highly skilled professional team.
The group’s technical expertise is delivered through specialised divisions, including power and distribution, cable management, earthing and lightning protection, lighting, cable, and oil and gas – each led by experienced engineers.
By cultivating robust relationships with leading manufacturers across USA, Europe and Asia, Amad Group serves as the exclusive agent for global giants such as Siemens, Marshall-Tufflex, OBO Bettermann, AN Wallis, Scame and authorised distributor for many other major reputed brands.
This international reach ensures that every project benefits from technical proficiency and cutting-edge technology.
In a significant move to bolster regional manufacturing, Amad Group continues to invest heavily in ‘Made in Bahrain’ and ‘Made in Saudi Arabia’ initiatives.
Following the successful launch of its fully automated switchgear factory with advanced technologies at Al Mazraa Industrial Park in the year 2022 which is authorised to manufacture Siemens Germany type tested Sivacon panels, the group is now constructing its third factory in the Saudi MODON Industrial Area.
With an investment of SR50 million (BD5m), this new facility will incorporate the latest industrial technologies, further solidifying Amad Group’s position as a trailblazer dedicated to driving economic progress and setting new benchmarks for quality in the region.
